Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai graveyard-lands midrange strategy commanded by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan revolves around accelerating early with efficient 1-2 CMC ramp to deploy Teval on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, Teval attacks to mill three cards, return a land card directly from the graveyard to the battlefield, and create 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The deck rapidly fills the graveyard through incidental mill engines like Life from the Loam, Ripples of Undeath, Blossoming Tortoise, and Six. It then transitions into overwhelming late-game dominance via mass reanimation spells like Living Death or explosive wide boards with Avenger of Zendikar and Craterhoof Behemoth. Evasion is granted by Wonder, while Syr Konrad, the Grim and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord provide non-combat direct damage outlets. While lacking stack interaction, the deck exhibits immense resilience through redundant graveyard recursion.
