Deck overview

This Abzan deck helmed by The Necrobloom merges lands-matter token production with aristocrat loops and infinite creature combos. The primary strategy leverages early mana dorks and cost reducers to deploy The Necrobloom by Turn 4. The commander turns every land drop into a board presence while granting land cards in the graveyard dredge 2. This fuels extensive self-mill, graveyard value, and land recursion. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 5 by assembling Cathars' Crusade alongside Scurry Oak, Herd Baloth, or Basking Broodscale, creating an infinite army of arbitrarily large creatures. Alternatively, it can assemble aristocrat drain engines using Warren Soultrader, Chatterfang, Squirrel General, and Marionette Apprentice. The deck is reinforced by efficient spot removal, flexible modal board wipes, and cheap instant-speed protection like Sylvan Safekeeper and Blacksmith's Skill, allowing it to consistently close out games by Turn 6.
