Gandalf and the crew v2 by Emersedsnow

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest leads a Jeskai legendary Wizard spellslinger deck that cheats instants and sorceries at combat for free, where X equals twice your legendary Wizard count. You assemble Wizards like Adeliz, Kaza, Kykar, and Vivi that raise X and turn each spell into tokens from Talrand and Kykar and pumps from Adeliz, Balmor, and Veyran. Wins come from going wide and attacking, often with an extra combat from Waves of Aggression or finishers like Surge to Victory, Akroma's Will, or Bond of Discipline. Big draw and suspend spells such as Inspired Ultimatum refill your hand. Gandalf is value, not a combo, so engines like Kykar and Vivi act as hidden commanders when he is removed.
