Commander: Rikala, Homarid King

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rikala, Homarid King is a Simic crab/homarid/value deck that uses the commander as a global pump and ramp multiplier. The primary plan is to set Rikala at three tide counters with Goldberry, Clockspinning, or Nesting Grounds, then use the extra bonus mana from Islands to build a wide token board of Crabs and Camarids. Secondary paths are a slower mill package (Hedron Crab, Ruin Crab, Homarid Explorer) and a flash-control finish with Hullbreaker Horror. The commander's actual role is a force multiplier, not an engine; Goldberry is the hidden commander that keeps the counter math stable and turns the loop into card draw. Wins generally arrive by making tens of 3/3 tokens and attacking in one or two large waves.
