Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure-ramp deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm, built to flood the board with Treasure tokens, convert them into explosive mana, and close the game with massive X-spells or incremental drain. The primary plan is to develop early token engines, cast Smaug to burst-create Treasures equal to opponents' artifact counts, then cash out with Torment of Hailfire, Crackle with Power, or the Revel in Riches alternate win. A secondary Dragon subtheme - Goldspan Dragon, Cavern-Hoard Dragon, Ancient Copper Dragon, Rivaz of the Claw - provides both mana multiplication and combat inevitability, while Reckless Fireweaver, Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, and Nadier's Nightblade convert every token created or sacrificed into table-wide damage. The deck is a value engine first and a combo deck second, with one infinite-mana line available when the pieces align.
