Avengers Assemble by scoopman

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Hero-tribal deck helmed by Captain America, Team Leader, built to deploy a critical mass of Heroes and convert combat damage into overwhelming card advantage. The commander grants entering Heroes haste and vigilance while stacking +1/+1 counters on both them and himself, letting the deck swing immediately and profit from a dense web of combat-damage draw triggers - Kindred Discovery, Reconnaissance Mission, Professor Hulk, SP//dr, Piloted by Peni, and Spider-Man 2099, Miguel O'Hara. The primary win is a wide, evasive board amplified by token-copy spells (Impostor Syndrome, Multiversal Incursion), anthem effects (Champions from Beyond, Chronicle of Victory), and damage multipliers (Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor, War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger). Secondary lines cheat Heroes into play via Avengers Quinjet and generate free casts through Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger and Cosmic Cube. It is a midrange value deck that wins through incremental combat inevitability rather than a fast combo.
