Counters and Planes by kal.el.0042

Format: Commander

Commander: Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider leads a mono-green counter-stompy deck that snowballs +1/+1 counters, tokens, and mana into one overwhelming combat step. The primary plan is to accelerate into Vorinclex on turns 3-4, then stack counter doublers such as Doubling Season and Branching Evolution before resolving a finisher like Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or Triumph of the Hordes. Planeswalkers Garruk, Freyalise, and Nissa provide the token bodies; The Great Henge and Guardian Project keep the hand full. Vorinclex doubles every counter the deck places, including poison from Triumph and toxic creatures, while halving opponents' counters. There is no infinite combo: the deck wins through repeated, tutor-assisted combat beats.
