Tessa's Deck of Dogs by barefootdyl

Format: Commander

Commander: Sophia, Dogged Detective

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Bant Dogs tribal midrange deck helmed by Sophia, Dogged Detective. The plan is to flood the board with Dogs, connect in combat to mint Food and Clue tokens off Sophia's trigger, then sacrifice those artifact tokens to spread +1/+1 counters across the pack. Counter doublers and anthems (Hardened Scales, Innkeeper's Talent, Pack Leader, Mowu, Loyal Companion) turn the board into a growing threat, while token multipliers (Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, Second Harvest) and Clue draw keep the engine fed. There are no infinite combos; wins come from combat damage once the Dogs are large enough. Sophia is the central value engine-her ETB Tiny, pump activated ability, and combat trigger define the deck's tempo-but the 99 still contains enough tribal bodies, counters, and draw to function if she is answered.
