Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mono-White Equipment Voltron build centered on Balan, Wandering Knight. The primary strategy accelerates early Equipment onto the battlefield before deploying Balan. By activating Balan's ability for two mana, the deck bypasses high equip costs like Colossus Hammer at instant speed, granting Balan double strike and lethal commander power as early as Turn 4. Card flow is sustained through classic white artificer engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin, while defensive cards like Ghostly Prison and Windborn Muse deter opposing aggression. The deck also includes an infinite damage combo using Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista as an alternate win condition. While resilient against targeted removal through blink and hexproof spells, the deck's combat-reliant clock requires three successive turns to eliminate a four-player pod, leaving windows for board wipes to disrupt the sequence.
