(Pillow)Castle in the Sky by user7723937

Format: Commander

Commander: Breena, the Demagogue

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck pilots Breena, the Demagogue as a political goad-and-drain engine. The primary plan is to dissuade opponents from attacking you while rewarding them for attacking each other, slowly accumulating +1/+1 counters on your creatures and triggering lifegain payoffs like Cliffhaven Vampire and Blood Artist. Goad auras (Parasitic Impetus, Martial Impetus, Ghoulish Impetus) and pillow-fort pieces (Windborn Muse, Eriette of the Charmed Apple) keep you safe, while token producers (Blot Out the Sky, Kaya, Geist Hunter, Felisa, Fang of Silverquill) build a flyer swarm. Win conditions are grindy: Approach of the Second Sun, huge Debt to the Deathless, or combat damage with Bleeding Effect granting keywords. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through incremental life total advantage and prolonged board presence.
