Deck overview

This deck leverages Helga, Skittish Seer to transform large creature spells into a compounding engine of mana ramp, life gain, and card advantage. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through green land search and dorks to cast Helga on turn 2 or 3. Once active, Helga converts every spell with mana value 4 or greater (as well as X-cost creatures) into an extra card and a +1/+1 counter. As Helga grows, her tap ability produces massive amounts of restricted mana, enabling explosive multi-spell turns. Synergies like Chakram Retriever repeatedly untap Helga to storm through high-impact threats such as Apex Devastator and Kalonian Hydra. The deck finishes games on turn 6 by granting its massive board trample or unblockability through cards like Herald of Secret Streams and Surrak and Goreclaw, or by clearing opposing blockers with asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict.
