Deck overview

This is an Abzan lifegain-and-reanimation deck built around Betor, Ancestor's Voice, who turns every point of life gained into +1/+1 counters and every point lost into a free reanimation each end step. The primary plan is to establish a repeatable lifegain engine - Celestine, the Living Saint, Nykthos Paragon, Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror - then convert that life into a growing board of massive, counter-stacked creatures. The deck packs a dense recursion package (Eerie Ultimatum, Living Death, Nethroi, Apex of Death, Six) to weather board wipes and grind through the midgame. Secondary win conditions include the two-card lifegain/drain combo of Vizkopa Guildmage or Enduring Tenacity with Spike Feeder or a heavy lifegain turn, plus large flying beaters like Colossal Grave-Reaver and Dragonlord Dromoka. This is a value-engine deck that wins through inevitability rather than speed.
