KotisMutates by KaijuSlayerD

Format: Commander

Commander: Kotis, the Fangkeeper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai mutate-and-voltron deck built around Kotis, the Fangkeeper, whose combat-damage trigger exiles cards from the opponent's library and lets you cast them for free. The primary plan is to suit Kotis up with auras and equipment - Fireshrieker, Leyline Axe, Sword of Feast and Famine - so that each swing exiles more cards and generates overwhelming card advantage. A deep mutate package (Auspicious Starrix, Otrimi, the Ever-Playful, Gemrazer, and friends) provides a secondary value engine and alternate threats, while Triskaidekaphile offers a slow alternate win condition. The deck plays as a midrange value deck that wins through repeated commander combat damage rather than a fast combo line.
