Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Big Mana Eldrazi strategy helmed by Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound. The early game focuses on deploying Ashling on turn 2 and paying {U} on turn 3 to transform her into Ashling, Rimebound. This generates two mana specifically for spells with mana value 4 or greater, catapulting the deck into powerful artifact ramp rocks such as Thran Dynamo, Hedron Archive, and The Eternity Elevator. By turn 4, the deck produces eight to nine mana, enabling high-impact engines like Zhulodok, Void Gorger and Echoes of Eternity. On turn 5, the deck deploys monstrous Eldrazi titans, including Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth. On-cast triggers provide uncounterable removal and card advantage, while asymmetric board wipes like All Is Dust cripple colored opposition. With Anger and Wonder granting haste and flying, the deck closes the game via devastating Annihilator swings across turns 6 and 7.
