Deck overview

This Orzhov deck helmed by Sorin of House Markov // Sorin, Ravenous Neonate pairs an efficient control shell with an infinite lifegain-drain combo finish. The primary strategy focuses on assembling a two-card loop combining a life-gain trigger like Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with a damage reflection permanent like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Enduring Tenacity. While setting up its pieces, the deck uses low-cost removal such as Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and Toxic Deluge to keep opposing boards in check, alongside value engines like Phyrexian Arena and The Gaffer. Protection spells like Silence and Flawless Maneuver shield the win condition during critical execution windows, while alternate lines like Bloodletter of Aclazotz combined with Fraying Omnipotence provide robust backup win conditions independent of the commander.
