Deck overview

This competitive mono-black deck leverages Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER as both an early card-draw outlet and a command-zone win condition. The strategy accelerates through format-ceiling fast mana and ultra-efficient tutors to assemble compact creature-sacrifice loops, primarily Warren Soultrader combined with Forsaken Miner. Because Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER drains an opponent whenever another creature dies, each death trigger commits a crime, triggering Forsaken Miner to return itself using the Treasure token created by Warren Soultrader. This creates an infinite life-drain loop that eliminates all opponents in a single turn. Backed by explosive card advantage engines like Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, and Bolas's Citadel, alongside disruptive hatebears such as Opposition Agent and Dauthi Voidwalker, the deck consistently threatens protected Turn 3 victories while punishing opposing search and draw engines.
