Deck overview

This deck is a classic Boros Equipment Voltron build helmed by Cloud, Planet's Champion. The strategy focuses on establishing early mana and deploying Equipment, then casting Cloud to leverage his equip-cost reduction and his potent turn-only double strike and indestructible abilities. Because the list lacks fast mana and dedicated equipment tutors, it operates at a traditional battlecruiser pace, deploying its commander around Turn 5 and initiating significant combat damage on Turn 6. While Cloud hits hard and resists damage-based wraths on your turn, the win condition is purely linear combat against one opponent at a time. The deck's primary limitations are low card velocity, reliance on top-decked Equipment, and vulnerability to exile-based removal and edict effects outside of its own turn.
