Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis wheel and burn strategy headed by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. The commander serves as early card selection via unblockable connive triggers and later transforms into a powerful graveyard facilitator that grants mayhem and discounts spells cast from the graveyard. The primary game plan focuses on deploying symmetrical draw punishers such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Nekusar, the Mindrazer, and Orcish Bowmasters, followed by resolving high-impact wheel effects including Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Dark Deal. These wheels simultaneously strip opponents of their carefully sculpted hands and inflict devastating chunks of direct damage. Mana velocity is sustained through talismans and explosive rituals like Jeska's Will and Dark Ritual, while Underworld Breach provides an inevitable late-game engine to recast spent wheels directly from the graveyard. The deck balances proactive group-slug pressure with low-cost interaction to ensure a fast, decisive finish across the table.
