Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Izzet artifact midrange and Voltron strategy helmed by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. In the early turns, the deck deploys cost-reducing artificers and efficient mana rocks while using Tony's front-side activated ability to dig for high-impact artifacts. Upon reaching six mana on Turn 5, Tony transforms into The Invincible Iron Man, a 5/5 flying creature with haste that cheats artifacts directly into play at the beginning of combat. By dropping formidable equipment such as Genji Glove, Argentum Armor, or Hulkbuster Armor attached for free, Iron Man generates massive single-target commander damage and additional combat steps. While the deck boasts resilient protective tools like Deflecting Swat, Padeem, Consul of Innovation, and Darksteel Forge, its reliance on combat connections and a high-cost transformation leaves it open to targeted removal during activation and vulnerability to artifact board wipes.
