Deck overview

This deck leverages the powerful partner pairing of Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist to generate overwhelming card advantage and lethal combat pressure. Supported by dense low-cost acceleration, Pako enters the battlefield as early as Turn 3 with haste, attacking immediately to grow its power and exile noncreature spells from every player's library. Haldan converts this exiled pool into a vast secondary hand, allowing the deck to cast stolen interaction and extra combat spells without depleting hand cards. The game plan focuses on rapidly eliminating opponents via commander damage, utilizing additional combat phases from cards like Relentless Assault, Seize the Day, and Aggravated Assault. Free interactive spells such as Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship keep Pako safe while maintaining mana velocity. While vulnerable to heavy creature removal and fog effects, its explosive card flow and high commander damage make it a fast, resilient threat.
