Deck overview

Led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, this Boros aggro deck blends Dwarf tribal synergies with Equipment and Treasure generation. The primary strategy establishes a board of resilient, low-mana Dwarves such as Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Kíli the Resourceful, and Dwalin, Weaponmaster before deploying Thorin. When Thorin enters, each Dwarf enters with bonus Treasure tokens, converting artifact token accumulation into a massive power buff across the entire team. Enablers like Reyav, Master Smith and Dáin Ironfoot grant double strike, turning modest boards into lethal combat threats by turn 5. The deck supports this aggressive clock with an Equipment sub-theme featuring Sunforger, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Puresteel Paladin, ensuring free equip costs and instant-speed utility. Defensive instants like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm safeguard the board from sweepers, while finishers such as Akroma's Will and Chandra's Ignition close out the table across turns 6 and 7.
