Format: Commander

Commander: Yuma, Proud Protector

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color Naya landfall deck built around Yuma, Proud Protector. Its primary plan is to fill the graveyard with land cards, reduce Yuma's cost, then use landfall payoffs such as Avenger of Zendikar and Scute Swarm to create a token army that is finished off by Moraug or Rumbleweed. The secondary path is a grindier desert-recursion engine using Ramunap Excavator, Ancient Greenwarden, and Desert Warfare to generate hasty Sand Warrior tokens. The commander acts as a card-draw engine when sacrificing lands and as a token creator when Deserts die, but the deck does not rely solely on Yuma.
