Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black wheel and attrition strategy helmed by Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. The core objective is to turn the fundamental game mechanic of card draw into a lethal liability for opponents while converting your own draws into an insurmountable life cushion. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks and rituals into a Turn 4 Sheoldred. Once she is operational, forced draw spells such as Teferi's Puzzle Box, Dark Deal, and Memory Jar rapidly burn through opposing life totals. If combat or wheel attrition is stalled, the deck transitions seamlessly into compact infinite drain combos like Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or explosive big-mana finishes via Cabal Coffers and Torment of Hailfire. The interaction suite focuses on efficient spot removal and sweepers to keep the board clear while the drain engine secures the win.
