Deck overview

This Temur deck commands a potent blend of aggressive Voltron pressure and explosive card advantage led by Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The primary strategy ramps aggressively on Turns 1–3 to cast Pako on Turn 4, immediately swinging with haste to exile cards from every player's library while accumulating +1/+1 counters. Once Haldan, Avid Arcanist enters the battlefield, all exiled noncreature cards and lands become an extended hand, granting massive card advantage and access to opponents' spells. The deck closes games by scaling Pako's power and chaining extra combat phases through Seize the Day, Relentless Assault, Overpowering Attack, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, often paired with double strike from Temur Battle Rage or unblockability. Supported by robust protection equipment and low-cost countermagic, the deck consistently converts its combat momentum into decisive commander-damage knockouts.
