Deck overview

This deck is a colorless midrange strategy commanded by Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate that combines +1/+1 counter growth, artifact token generation, and asymmetric disruptive artifacts. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana rocks and parity-breaking stax pieces like Winter Moon and Torpor Orb. Because the mana base features 25 basic Wastes, the deck operates unhindered under nonbasic land hate while stalling opposing multicolor strategies. Once Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate enters, modular creatures and counter distributors such as Steel Overseer, Animation Module, and Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade rapidly scale the board. Heavy mana engines like Forsaken Monument and Echoes of Eternity double mana and triggers, fueling lethal combat damage, massive manifest swarms upon death, or an infinite colorless mana loop via Basalt Monolith. The deck provides robust recovery through death triggers, though it remains vulnerable to mass artifact exile and broad removal.
