Deck overview

This deck is a five-color battlecruiser list built around The Ur-Dragon, seeking to cast massive flying Dragons and win through devastating combat damage. The commander's eminence ability discounts Dragon spells by one mana, helping bridge the gap to high-mana threats like Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Ancient Copper Dragon. Key velocity enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Hellkite Courser grant haste and cheat the commander onto the battlefield to draw cards and drop permanents for free. However, the list suffers from structural dilution, running a split tribal focus with six Sliver legendary creatures alongside off-plan inclusions like Charix, the Raging Isle and Barktooth Warbeard. With a mana base heavy on basic lands and filter lands, ramp velocity is sluggish, leading to a Turn 6 operational window that wins over multi-turn combat rotations.
