Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses Radagast of Rhosgobel to convert traditional high-mana creatures into reactive, tempo-efficient threats. By discounting the first creature spell cast each turn by two mana and granting it flash, Radagast allows you to deploy formidable beaters like Elder Gargaroth, Gigantosaurus, and Carnage Tyrant on opponent end steps. This timing minimizes exposure to sorcery-speed sweepers and prepares an immediate attack on your own turn. The deck's engine relies on dense mana dorks for early ramp, paired with static card-draw enchantments like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond that trigger off power 4 or greater creatures. Combat finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Surrak and Goreclaw provide massive power buffs and trample to close out games across consecutive combats. While the deck boasts high redundancy and resilient threats, its reliance on natural draws and lack of stack interaction make it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and fast combo strategies.
