Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure tribal deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm, built around generating and exploiting a massive number of Treasure tokens to ramp, draw cards, and drain opponents. The primary game plan is to flood the board with Treasure producers like Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Goldspan Dragon, and Xorn, then use the Treasures to cast Smaug (who creates more Treasures on entry) and other spells while drawing cards from Smaug's trigger. The deck wins through incremental drain effects from Mirkwood Bats, Mayhem Devil, and Marionette Apprentice, or via the alternate win condition of Hellkite Tyrant (control 20 artifacts). It can also deploy large dragons like Hellkite Tyrant and Hoarding Broodlord for combat pressure. The strategy is heavily synergistic, leveraging every Treasure for mana, cards, and life loss.
