Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros go-wide token strategy commanded by Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. It establishes early board presence through low-curve utility creatures and ramp, casting Anim Pakal on Turn 3. Once online, attacking with non-Gnomes places counters on Anim Pakal and generates an exponential wave of tapped and attacking Gnome artifact creature tokens. These tokens trigger enter-the-battlefield damage effects such as Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, and Warleader's Call, rapidly softening opposing life totals while avoiding reliance on combat damage alone. Mass pumps from cards like Goldnight Commander, Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer, and Neyali, Suns' Vanguard turn modest Gnome swarms into lethal attackers. The deck protects its commitments with premier defensive answers including Boros Charm, Guardian of Faith, and Selfless Spirit, while harboring an un-tutored backup combo in Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Combat Celebrant.
