Deck overview

This deck is a Temur spellslinger engine piloted by Iroh, Grand Lotus, designed to leverage Lesson spells and graveyard recursion into explosive storm turns. Early turns prioritize ramp and cost reduction via pieces like Catalyst Stone, Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius, and Hermitic Herbalist. Once Iroh is deployed, every Lesson in the graveyard gains flashback {1}, which reduces to {0} mana when paired with cost reducers. This enables substantial card draw through Waterbending Lesson and Accumulate Wisdom, fueling velocity engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Archmage Emeritus. The deck closes out games around Turn 6–7 by chaining spells with burn multipliers like Guttersnipe, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, and Caldera Pyremaw, finishing with an overwhelming Crackle with Power or Hullbreaker Horror board control.
