Deck overview

This deck is a classic Selesnya lifegain beatdown strategy led by Trelasarra, Moon Dancer. The core game plan revolves around playing low-mana lifegain enablers—such as Soul Warden, Essence Warden, and Ajani's Mantra—to repeatedly trigger Trelasarra's ability. Each trigger places a +1/+1 counter on her and scries 1, rapidly growing her into an imposing combat threat while smoothing future card draws. Secondary beaters like Ajani's Pridemate and Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn provide redundant offensive presence. Because Trelasarra lacks built-in evasion or protection, the deck relies on cards like Duskshell Crawler and Abzan Falconer to bypass ground blockers, alongside defensive tricks like Tamiyo's Safekeeping. The deck struggles against dedicated creature combo and sweepers due to limited reactive creature removal and modest card draw, but it delivers a reliable, high-tempo combat clock in casual environments.
