Deck overview

This is an Izzet Spellslinger deck helmed by Ovika, Enigma Goliath, built to generate a horde of hasty 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin tokens by casting noncreature spells. The primary game plan is to ramp into Ovika, then chain cheap instants and sorceries to create a growing army while accumulating value from prowess triggers, Guttersnipe burn, and Shantotto, Tactician Magician card draw. The deck also leans on recursion packages like Underworld Breach and Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy to recycle key spells. Combat damage from the token swarm is the main win condition, supplemented by direct burn from Vivi Ornitier and Tellah, Great Sage's explosive payoff. There are no infinite combos, so the deck relies on sustained spellcasting and incremental advantage to overwhelm opponents.
