Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive Jund combat and fight engine commanded by Maarika, Brutal Gladiator. The strategy accelerates mana on early turns to deploy Maarika by Turn 4, utilizing her built-in turn-phase indestructible and lure effect to force unfavorable blocks. Supported by power multipliers like Xenagos, God of Revels, Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder, and Embercleave, Maarika delivers massive commander damage while stripping opponents of key artifacts, enchantments, and planeswalkers through her excess damage trigger. Fight and bite spells such as Ram Through, Tail Swipe, and Chandra's Ignition turn Maarika into repeatable one-sided removal. A robust mid-range package featuring Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, Anzrag, the Quake-Mole, and Ziatora, the Incinerator ensures lethal pressure continues even if the commander faces targeted disruption.
