Deck overview

This mono-black control deck revolves around Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, weaponizing symmetric discard effects to systematically dismantle opposing hands while accumulating an extensive pool of stolen spells in exile. By establishing early group-discard permanents such as Bottomless Pit, Oppression, and low-cost creatures like Burglar Rat and Virus Beetle, the deck forces all three opponents into top-deck mode while breaking symmetry via the commander's stash ability. As the game transitions into the midgame, continuous attrition engines such as Waste Not, Bandit's Talent, and The Raven Man translate opponent discards into mana acceleration, token armies, and supplemental card advantage. The deck closes games through compounding drain effects from Tinybones, Trinket Thief and Painful Quandary, massive beatdown with an overgrown Tourach, Dread Cantor, or swarming with tokens while denying opposing counterplay. Although lacking instant-speed stack interaction and enchantment removal, its suffocating hand destruction severely constrains opponent sequencing and neutralizes combo attempts.
