Tap that ass by Zombiecowboy

Format: Commander

Commander: Merieke Ri Berit

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Esper control and combo deck utilizes Merieke Ri Berit as a repeatable removal and theft engine while setting up game-ending tap and untap synergies. The primary game plan slows down opponents through taxing enchantments and creatures that force opposing permanents to enter tapped. While controlling the board, the deck searches for dedicated combo pieces such as Aphetto Alchemist equipped with Illusionist's Bracers to generate infinite untap triggers. These infinite triggers generate unbounded mana or card draws with complementary artifacts, allowing the deck to drain the entire table through Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, the Grim, or repeated extort triggers.
