Format: Commander

Commander: Azula, Cunning Usurper

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Azula is a Dimir theft/control commander who exiles an opponent's creature and graveyard card on entry and lets you cast them during your turn using any mana. The deck uses flicker effects and clone effects to repeat her trigger while controlling the stack with a dense counter suite. The primary path to a clean win is the Demonic Consultation + Jace, Wielder of Mysteries combo; Azula serves as a powerful backup, applying pressure with stolen creatures and red attack mana that can cast the exiled spells at instant speed. A deep tutor package, including transmute cards, Lim-Dul's Vault, and Wishclaw Talisman, makes the plan reliable.
