Deck overview

This deck combines Abzan cycling synergies with graveyard reanimation. In the early game, cheap cycling and landcycling creatures smooth mana development while loading the graveyard with large threats. Karador, Ghost Chieftain enters the battlefield ahead of curve for just three mana thanks to its cost reduction. From there, Karador and Astral Slide repeatedly blink and recast enter-the-battlefield creatures to control opposing boards. On turn 6, the deck resolves a mass reanimation spell like Living Death or Eerie Ultimatum, bringing back a massive army alongside Archfiend of Ifnir, Syr Konrad, and Lotleth Giant to close the game on turn 7.
