Format: Commander

Commander: Ramos, Dragon Engine

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a five-color mutate value engine helmed by Ramos, Dragon Engine, combining a Gates subtheme with a dense +1/+1 counter synergy package. The primary plan is to stack mutate triggers on a single creature, generating cascading advantage through card draw, land ramp, and removal, while Ramos, Dragon Engine provides explosive mana fixing to accelerate the board. Secondary win conditions include Maze's End (once ten Gates are online) and overwhelming combat damage from a massive, keyword-packed mutated creature. The deck leans heavily on its mutate creatures, counter doublers like Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution, and reanimation tools like Nethroi, Apex of Death to recover from wipes.
