Deck overview

This Bant +1/+1 counters deck, helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, aims to build an overwhelming board of counter-laden creatures and then make them unblockable. Tidus moves counters between creatures at the start of combat and, through Cheer, draws a card and proliferates whenever counter-carrying creatures connect - turning every attack into card advantage and even more counters. The deck layers multiple counter engines - landfall (Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, Scythecat Cub, Evolution Sage), cast triggers (Managorger Hydra, Forgotten Ancient, Wildgrowth Archaic), and end-step accrual (Brokers Ascendancy, Warden of the Grove) - then breaks through with Herald of Secret Streams, Abzan Falconer, or Champion of Lambholt. Primary wins are unblockable combat damage and the alternate Simic Ascendancy condition, with Walking Ballista as a mana-sink finisher. It is a midrange value deck that grinds to a critical mass before swinging for lethal.
