Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, built around casting large instants and sorceries and converting them into an X/X flying, haste Elemental token at each combat. The deck layers multiple token engines - Rionya, Fire Dancer, Manaform Hellkite, Ovika, Enigma Goliath, Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, and Furygale Flocking - so the primary win is overwhelming combat damage, accelerated by extra combat spells like World at War and Surge to Victory. Big-mana bursts from Mana Geyser, Jeska's Will, and Goldspan Dragon fuel oversized spells, while magecraft payoffs like Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, and Archmage Emeritus generate value and card advantage. The deck is a mid-power, combat-oriented spellslinger that wins through token swarm and repeated combats rather than infinite combos.
