Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos group-slug and forced-combat engine built around Xantcha, Sleeper Agent. Instead of racing toward early combo wins, the deck donates dangerous threats to opponents while forcing them to attack one another. Accelerants deployed on turns 1 and 2 enable a turn 3 Xantcha, establishing an early card draw sink and chip-damage engine. Mid-game pieces like Disrupt Decorum, Kardur, Doomscourge, and Rite of the Raging Storm keep opposing creatures pointed away from you while steadily bleeding the table's life totals. Defensive rattlesnakes such as No Mercy and Dread deter retaliatory strikes. The game concludes around turn 9 as high-impact finishers like Captive Audience or Mob Rule leverage battered life totals to eliminate remaining players. The deck thrives on multiplayer politics and asymmetric combat, but remains vulnerable to heavy enchantment themes and opposing combo turns due to light stack interaction.
