Format: Commander

Commander: Ezio Auditore da Firenze

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Assassin-tribal tempo deck built around Ezio Auditore da Firenze's alternate win: get each opponent to 10 or less life, have Ezio connect, and pay {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} to eliminate them. Ezio's freerunning ability discounts every Assassin in hand to {B}{B} after any Assassin connects, so the deck plays a stream of cheap menace/deathtouch/fear creatures, chips the table with anthems, extra combats, and drains, then finishes with the commander's triggered kill. The list is heavily legendary/historic, making Desynchronization, What Must Be Done, and Living Death effective resets and Basim Ibn Ishaq a draw engine. The secondary win is straightforward combat beats with double-strike equipment, plus Ramses, Assassin Lord, who converts any Assassin-attacked player's loss into an immediate game win - a key shortcut for Ezio's kill.
