Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros go-wide token and burn strategy commanded by Ajani, Nacatl Pariah // Ajani, Nacatl Avenger. The primary game plan focuses on rapid early-game creature deployment, sacrificing cat tokens to flip Ajani into a lethal planeswalker on turn 3, and deploying compounding damage amplifiers like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Warleader's Call. With efficient token generators including Ocelot Pride, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Brimaz, King of Oreskos, the deck rapidly scales its board state into lethal combat and noncombat damage. An elite package of free and convokable protection spells like Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, and Flare of Fortitude defends against opposing sweepers and targeted removal. Meanwhile, flexible tutors such as Ranger-Captain of Eos and Imperial Recruiter ensure access to key utility pieces. The deck consistently applies critical pressure by turn 4 and closes out 4-player pods around turn 6.
