Necrons by Manbeard

Format: Commander

Commander: Imotekh the Stormlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black Necron artifact-recursion combo deck helmed by Imotekh the Stormlord. The core plan mills and sacrifices artifacts into the graveyard, then repeatedly returns them to trigger Imotekh's Phaeron ability for swarms of 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens while assembling classic artifact loops. Primary wins come from infinite sacrifice-recursion lines that drain the table through Blood Artist, Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, and Psychomancer. Secondary paths include go-wide combat buffed by Imotekh's combat trigger, Anrakyr the Traveller casting bombs from the yard, and Metalwork Colossus or Trazyn the Infinite value. The deck is heavily artifact- and graveyard-centric, leveraging cost reducers, sacrifice outlets, and recursive creatures to turn every death into mana, cards, tokens, and life loss.
