Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Voltron and combat-theft deck built around Kotis, the Fangkeeper. Kotis provides a resilient 2/1 indestructible body that converts combat damage directly into card and mana velocity. Whenever Kotis damages a player, you exile cards from the top of their library equal to the damage dealt and cast any number of those spells for free. The 99 supports this game plan with dense packages of unblockable Auras, stat-boosting Equipment, instant-speed combat tricks, and cheap hexproof protection. After deploying Kotis on Turn 3 or 4, the deck begins swinging on Turn 5, cascading into opponents' spells to build an overwhelming board state while eliminating players via commander damage. Because Kotis is naturally indestructible, opponents must rely on exile, bounce, or edict effects to stop the engine. The deck thrives by punishing high-value opposing decks, turning their own strongest spells against them.
