A Very Unexpected Funeral by PROSCR3AM

Format: Commander

Commander: The Sackville-Bagginses

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck built around The Sackville-Bagginses as a value engine: its ETB sacrifice trigger draws a card and makes a Treasure, while every token sacrificed pings a player. The primary plan is to drain opponents with death-trigger effects such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Syr Konrad, recycling Reassembling Skeleton and tokens through Woe Strider, Pawn of Ulamog, and Spawning Pit. There is no hidden commander and no infinite combo; wins are grindy accumulations of 2-8 life loss per sacrifice, finished by Gray Merchant of Asphodel or a large token-sacrifice turn. The commander's role is card advantage and small drain, not a necessary combo piece.
