Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-stompy and token-cloning strategy commanded by Aerid Konstrari. The game plan accelerates through dense 1-2 CMC ramp to deploy Aerid by Turn 4, generating Heartwood tokens that fix mana and ramp toward explosive mid-game turns. Aerid's built-in death trigger provides exceptional resilience, ensuring mana recovery even through sweepers. The deck translates artifact density into lethal pressure by copying creatures with Tempestra, Dame of Games, Twinflame, and Electroduplicate, stacking Heartwood tokens to power up Aerid Konstrari, Hellkite Igniter, and Improvised Arsenal. Mass artifact animation via Depthshaker Titan and trample/double strike buffs from Team Tactics and Garruk's Uprising allow the deck to close games around Turn 7. While vulnerable to mass exile effects and lacking proactive stax pieces, the list features efficient spot protection, robust artifact synergy, and substantial mana velocity.
