Deck overview

This deck harnesses Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer to turn incoming combat and effect damage into massive +1/+1 counters while reanimating key creatures upon being cast. The strategy revolves around deploying early mana acceleration, protective equipment, and damage-redirection auras such as Pariah and With Great Power . . .. Once Anti-Venom is deployed on Turn 5, he absorbs all incoming damage meant for you, creating an impenetrable defensive wall while growing into an enormous commander-damage threat. The deck converts this defensive resilience into lethal offense using double strike, damage doublers like Inquisitor's Flail, board wipes that trigger self-damage like Wave of Reckoning, or mass-damage auras like Super State. A compact backup win condition exists via Phyrexian Vindicator and Guilty Conscience, which can instantly eliminate the table in an infinite damage loop. Supported by robust white protection spells, the deck reliably closes games by Turn 8.
