Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis spellslinger control deck helmed by Kefka, Court Mage. It leverages an efficient 2-mana ramp foundation to cast Kefka ahead of curve on Turn 4, exploiting its enter-the-battlefield and attack triggers to force symmetrical discard while refilling its hand based on diverse card types. The core strategy converts spell density into tangible board presence and direct damage through token producers like Young Pyromancer, Third Path Iconoclast, and Docent of Perfection, coupled with burn engines such as Fiery Inscription and Black Waltz No. 3. Interaction is robust, packing efficient low-mana counterspells and removal to protect the board while sweeping problematic boards with Blasphemous Act or Chain Reaction. Without infinite combos, the deck relies on compounding card advantage, chip burn, and wide evasion attacks to overcome the table by Turn 8.
