Deck overview

This Esper Commander deck leverages Splinter, Radical Rat to double the triggered abilities of Ninja creatures while providing unblockability on demand for {1}{U}. Early turns focus on deploying cheap evasive enablers such as Slither Blade and April O'Neil, Kunoichi Trainee, curving into a Turn 3 commander cast. By Turn 4, the deck establishes its primary engine, generating compounding card draw and Treasure tokens through doubled saboteur triggers on cards like Ninja of the Deep Hours and Prosperous Thief. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 5, deploying high-impact payoffs such as Shredder, Shadow Master or Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. Splinter doubles Shredder's attack triggers to create attacking copies across the entire pod, subsequently doubling combat damage triggers to reduce each opponent's life total by seventy-five percent. Across a single response cycle, the deck closes the game on Turn 6 through evasive combat damage.
